Nyakahanga Hospital is the healthy institution which is designated, owned by Karagwe Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania and it works through partnership with the government which is giving the support to ensure provision of good service in the community at large. In accomplishing its goals, the management of Nyakahanga hospital planed the workshop for a strategic plan of 2021-2025 which took place done at Bishop Mukuta Memorial Conference Center from 8th - 10th June, 2021. The workshop was attended by the Hospital Board Chairperson, Dean, Rev. Yared Wakami, heads of departments from Nyakahanga hospital and it was facilitated by Mr. Erasto Kamihanda and Miss. Linda Mambo. In opening the workshop, Dean Yared Wakami read the word of God from Luke 14:28 which states, “There you will weep and gnash your teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God “In relating the word of God with that workshop he said that “Jesus Christ needs Our strategic plan to proceed on. We have a hospital which needs us to put our efforts in order to succeed on what we are dreaming of. Workers (hospital staff members) are there, Customers are available and finally what we need is a plan which will lead us to the accomplishment of our goals” said Rev. Yared Wakami. During the session, Mr. Kamihanda gave the directives on how to plan for the strategic which will be used for five years. He also insisted on using meetings which will help to know the progress of what is being planned so that alterations can be done whenever needed. In concluding the workshop members made discussions and gave opinions in various issues in order to make better decision on the year 2021-2025.The next workshop (mid- term review) is planned to occur after two years with in the five years of the strategic plan.
